Hey friends! Welcome to Quick Minute Tips. This Quick Minute Tip is all about naps. If you’ve ever had a cranky toddler, or been around a cranky toddler, you know naps can be magical for readjusting moods. But naps aren’t just for kids! Whether you’re not sleeping well at night, or overdid it at the gym, sometimes a nap is exactly what you need to rest your body and soul. While some people think it’s a sign of laziness, according to WebMD, a short nap can boost your memory, improve job performance, lift your mood, make you more alert, and ease stress.
So I’m all about creating a beautiful space to take a nap in. Soft pillows, fuzzy blankets, nice scents, and a darkened room help set the tone. If you have a hard time falling asleep, try a short meditation clip or a relaxing nature sound like rain or waves.
