Hi friends! Welcome to Quick Minute Tips. This minute tip is about social media use. So most of us are heavily involved in social media... maybe we’re checking our Facebook, or connecting on Linked In, or seeing who Tweeted what. But as we all know, this can quickly grow to take over quite a bit of our time... reducing productivity, increasing anxiety, and of course there’s always the FOMO: Fear of Missing Out. So my tip for this week is to limit how much you’re on social media. You can either do this by actually setting limitations in your device... I know in Apple you can go into Settings, and Screen Time, and set app limits for each app. So you might say, “I’m only going to spend one hour a day on social media.” You can also do this by just setting a timer on your phone, and saying, “I’m only going to spend 15 minutes checking my email.” So the tip for this week is to limit how much access you have to social media. Spend that time connecting with people in real life... and being more productive!
